NEW FRIENDS MEMBERSHIP SUSPENDED
The PNTS Committee regrets that it has been necessary to suspend the provision of new membership to the Friends of Poetry-next-the-Sea, as from Feb 2013, due to falling numbers.
This does not in any way affect the status of existing Friends, who will continue to enjoy the same benefits for 2013 as they have in previous years: discounts on ticket prices, advance information on the festival programme, the Friends’ newsletter Wavelength, and details of other similar events in the locality throughout the year.
We sincerely hope that this will be merely a temporary measure – sadly made necessary by rising admin costs – and that we will be able to restore the Friends to where they belong: at the heart of the festival’s activities.
