Open Poetry Competition 2012
The response to our competition this year has been overwhelming and extraordinary: not only have we moved the field of entry beyond Norfolk, we have gone international. Amongst the 300-plus entries for 2012 were offerings from Europe, Australia, the United States, and even Hong Kong. Our adjudicator, Graham High, faced with a veritable avalanche of poems has finely sifted, deliberated and concluded within a record time, for which he has our unending thanks – Graham, you are the very model of efficiency. The prize list may be found here, and we look forward to savouring the fruits of those poets’ success on Sunday 13th May at our Open Floor and combined competition winners event, beginning at 2.00pm.
